Sketching
A sketch is a painting made with a single color. Such as pencil drawing, charcoal drawing, pen drawing, etc. Monochrome watercolor and monochrome oil painting can also be counted as sketching. Sketching is the foundation of all kinds of paintings.
Chinese painting
Chinese painting uses traditional tools and materials such as Chinese brush, ink, rice paper, silk, ink stone and pigments to make paintings. It can fully reflect the spirit of the nation, thus becoming a glorious national painting art.
Gouache painting
Technically speaking, gouache painting should belong to the category of watercolor painting, because both of them are color driven by water, and their essence is the same. Oil painting is the painting made with oil as the solvent and thinner of pigment. It is the most comprehensive and expressive type of painting, regardless of the volume, space, light and texture of the object, and the true extent of the shape and spirit of the portrayed image.
watercolor painting
Watercolor painting uses water as the solvent and diluent for painting. Because of the transparency, flow and permeability of water, when painting, it makes full use of the white color of the paper for the reflection of white light.
Printmaking
Printmaking is a form of painting. The picture is engraved or etched on the plate with knives or chemicals, and then copied on paper. There are varieties of wood, stone, copper, zinc and linen plates.
